Gone are the dayzzzzzz

Gone are the days when I was in cradle all the

young girls hugged and kissed me

Gone are the days when I rode bicycle

on the streets Hands free

Gone are the days when I sat in kids school

with all girlfriends surrounded

Gone are the days when I played Mario

till midnight to save his princess

Gone are the days when I played iceboy, Gilli,

Cricket, Goli, pambaram on streets

Gone are the days when I watched every episode of Popeye, Swat Kats,

Tom n jerry, Captain Planet on cartoon network

Gone are the days when I used floppy disc

to transfer files

Gone are the days when I used to sing

and record on audio tapes

Gone are the days when I sang Jana Gana Mana

every Monday morning at assembly

Gone are the days when I wore torn clothes

and didn’t care about anything

Gone are the days when I hit crows

with my sling shot

Gone are the days when parle-G and Britania Milk bikis

were the biscuits that everyone know

Gone are the days when I used the big gun

Gone are the days when I had 65 in 1 cassette

from my neighbors house

Gone are the days when i crushed tube light to create manja

Gone are the days when i chew kamarakut hoping i would
get 25 paise and end up having 5 paise

Gone are the days when I played outdoor sports

almost 10 hours in a day

Gone are the days when I was happy with

whatever I have and share with friends

Gone are the days when I had no money in pocket

and still wander around the streets happily

Now are the days I am running behind F***g money
