Friday evening after boring statistics subject overview, i just got reminded of RV Coimbatore. RV bakery in Coimbatore near PSG tech is famous of Ice cream carrot halwa. So my tongue and stomach urged me to prepare carrot halwa. First time in the world i am going to cook and teach you people ice-cream carrot halwa. Let’s move on to the recipe, as the name suggest you need to have 4 pieces of carrot, ghee, sugar and condensed milk(Some cashew nuts not mandatory).
Shred the carrot to fine pieces, a shredder would do the job. Pour some ghee in the pan and heat it till it becomes liquid. For god-sake please don't put mustard in it, as the general procedure for cooking any dish is to heat the oil and put some mustard. So better be careful, if you have put mustard in ghee then better proceed to cook carrot side-dish. For those people who have not put mustard, put the shred carrots to the pan and cook it for about 5 mins till you sense some color change. In the mean time boil the milk for couple of minutes to condense it. If you feel the color change of carrot then pour the condensed milk and cook until the milk gets dried. How much milk to pour, just pour till you just overfill the carrot level. Everything in cooking is eye judgment, after the milk gets dried off pour 8 table spoons of sugar and still for around 3 mins. Finally if you have cashew nuts, then do your decorations over the carrot halwa. Yummy carrot halwa is ready. Is it really yummy cook for yourself and let me know.
Oh i forgot our dish is ice cream carrot halwa right. I am not gonna teach you how to prepare ice cream just move out of your house to the nearest ice cream shop and get vanilla ice cream. Vanilla ice cream with carrot is always preffered, you can go for other flavors on your own risk.
The most difficult part in cooking is washing the dish. :(
